HIL Lands European Union’s Most Prestigious Financing

Today HIL won what is by far the most competitive and prestigious financing program the European Union has to offer: Horizon 2020 EIC Accelerator, blended financing.

Out of over 4,200 applicants, The European Commission has awarded a total of €176 million to a select group of 38 startups set to shape the future.

HIL is now officially among the top 1 percentile of European startups!

Furtherfomre, HIL alone landed nearly a tenth of the total award – close to €14 million in grant and equity funding

Coming on the heals of two other EU grants awarded to HIL in recent months (SME, and FTI), and combined with the ongoing backing of our investors, this crown jewel of EU funding allows us to sail into 2021 on strong tail winds and continue on our bold mission of revolutionizing Proton-Beam Cancer Therapy.
