HIL key patent granted in Japan

HIL’s Japanese patent application number 2011-541715, regarding a System for Fast Ion Generation and a Method Thereof, was allowed (granted) today.

Coming on the heels of a recent patent issuance in the US, this new issued patent further strengthens HIL’s solid IP position in the two largest markets worldwide for proton therapy.

Multiple other patent applications remain pending world-wide – both in this patent family and in other families. Additional applications are in preparation and are expected to be submitted soon.
