HIL lands two more patents – in the US and Japan

The US patent, in the field of laser-proton acceleration, was allowed in March; the Japanese one, relating to advanced magnetic concepts for beam shaping and delivery, was granted a few weeks later – in late April.
These recent additions to our IP portfolio solidify HIL’s position as the leading global innovator in laser-based proton-therapy systems.
