HIL is awarded the Horizon 2020 Seal of Excellence

The European Commission managing Horizon 2020 – the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation – evaluated HIL’s Phase-II proposal as a high-quality project as part of its highly competitive evaluation process. This means HIL’s project passed all stringent Horizon 2020 assessment thresholds for the award criteria – excellence, impact, innovation, quality and efficiency of implementation.

According to the European Commission, Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever, and one of the most competitive. It’s aim is to foster breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market.
