HIL and CERN announce collaboration (and Globes coverage)
Novel technologies developed at CERN could be used in HIL’s system, helping to further reduce the size and cost of Proton Therapy systems and achieve HIL’s goal of making this important treatment modality accessible to every patient around the world. The new collaboration is supported by a generous grant form the IIA (Israel’s Innovation Authority).
CERN – the European Organization for Nuclear Research – is the world’s premier multinational physics research institution, and home to the Large Hadron Collider – the world’s largest particle accelerator.
Globes, one of Israel’s leading financial newspapers, published a story about CERN’s contribution to innovation and its collaboration with Israeli startups. The story features HIL’s novel approach to particle acceleration and ultra-compact proton therapy solutions, and its new collaboration with CERN.
